I watch it at the Sand Film Festival in St Andrews. Before I watched, my friend told me it might be the best movie during this movie festival. But at the beginning, it was so slow and confusing, I felt really sleepy (and one of our friends had fell asleep xx). When I felt boring, it became better and better, and even made us cry... The story was about an old Asian man and his family in Hawaii. The film discussed the cross-culture, migration and death in the background of the wave of history. I don't want to discuss the meaning of life, but when I saw him going to die in that jungle, and saw everything disappearing --- the family affection, the love (He saw his wife's shadow and reminded a lot of the past stories, but I must say those tributes for his dead wife are very common in China, and I don't know why in this film they looked so scary --- they shouldn't be scary, they are memorable)... a strong mood of melancholy descended on me... I missed my grandparents so much... As my friend said, I wanna give them a hug, now. PS: when I left my room this morning, I forgot my key. So this review was written during I waited for the stuff to help me open the door... And you may not believe, I waited them for 45 minutes and I just came in...
